Since I am going to pitfire over Christmas, I'm reading up a lot on both wood firing and pit firing.

I've got pieces drying now, which I intend to bisque fire in a pit fire. I'm getting super primitive here, but hey. If the Karankawas could do it, so can I!

Here is another pit firing technique. Sounds pretty simple. They recommend bisque firing it first -- so I'll have to figure out how to do that.
