Finally, I turned in all my work for Ceramics I and my film photography class -- both portfolios signed, sealed and delivered. I went home, had a margarita, took a nap, got up and made pottery!
Here's my first baby thrown with B10 laguna -- BEAUTIFUL clay to work with -- soooo smooth and soft -- so nice!
I made this little cream pitcher. I plan to spatter paint it with shaner blue, and do the interior white -- not sure if I'll use Leach White or Alfred White -- or just clear and let the clay show through.
The outside, I'd like to just leave as clay with Shaner blue spattered on it. I think it will look cool. Not sure what color B10 Laguna fires to -- I'll ask a friend of mine who works with it. |
